Hail to the King: Deathbat is a third-person, overhead dungeon crawler action RPG that takes inspiration from iconic games like The Legend of Zelda, Gauntlet Legends, and Diablo. Developed by Avenged Sevenfold, the game delves into the mythical origins of the Deathbat, the band's logo and mascot.

In this challenging game, players must navigate through vast levels, battle skilled undead creatures, and defeat formidable bosses. The gripping storyline revolves around Andronikos, the resurrected King of the Underworld and the embodiment of the Deathbat. His mission is to reclaim the lands of Haides from the tyrannical Dark Andronikos. Throughout the game, players engage in a mix of brutal melee combat and powerful projectile magic attacks while exploring beautifully designed and infernal landscapes inspired by Avenged Sevenfold's discography and artwork. Along the journey, players can interact with characters to solve puzzles and unravel the mysteries of Moros Island.

Hail to the King: Deathbat not only features classic tracks from Avenged Sevenfold but also includes an original score composed by the band, reminiscent of timeless 8-bit masterpieces such as Castlevania.
